SEMIOLOGIC HOSTING UPDATE – Semiologic has pulled its hosting plan as hosted by Your Domains Name Hosting Company and is instead planning to reintroduce it after the first of the year when the next version of Semiologic is introduced.

The discontinued plan was a product created by the former Executive Director of Semiologic who also owns VPS Domain Hosting-Your Domains Name Hosting Company. With his departure, it just makes sense to stop and re-evaluate and then introduce a carefully integrated hosting plan which reports directly to Semiologic management.

After being on BlueHost for a number of years, I decided to move one of my newer sites.  The move was not made because of any dissatisfaction with BlueHost but rather with a desire to try out the hosting company that now hosts Semiologic.

Semiologic is now being moved to servers hosted by Premium VPS Hosting.  When you get on the site, go to hosting and click the shared hosting choice from the pull down menu.

For $9.95 per month, you get unmetered everything: domains, subdomains, addons, databases and bandwidth.  You even get a domain name of your choice hosted free as part of the package.  If you're looking for a new or additional host I suggest that you try VPS Premium Hosting.

The move of this site is still underway.  Some of the experimental aspects of the site have not yet been reactivated.  In the coming days, the forum and the shopping cart will again be available.
