WordPress Announces 2.7.1

WordPress today released version 2.7.1, a minor upgrade available by a one-click upgrade for those now using version 2.7.

More important from my standpoint is the announcement of the new Plug-ins Directory Search. This really speeds up the process of finding relevant plugins. No more looking through categories, perhaps multiple categories to find what we need.

Those using Semiologic should wait for the Semiologic 5.7.2 upgrade and not upgrade WordPress independently.
